Child & Youth Focused Programs and Services

Keeginaw Preschool

We are an inclusive, family-friendly facility. Our licensed child care program offers a two to five day per/week option, and runs from 9:00am – 11:30am, Monday to Friday.

Our Preschool Program operates September to June (In accordance with the School District Calendar).

Preschool fees are pro-rated monthly and are as follows:

  • 2 classes per week – $130.00/month
  • 3 classes per week – $170.00/month
  • 4 classes per week – $200.00/month

A $25.00 non-refundable registration fee is required to secure your child’s spot in the Preschool for the year.

Keeginaw Kids Afterschool Program

The After School Program is a free, licensed child care program for school aged children aged 6-12. We offer a fun, inclusive, child centered program focused on positive health promotion. In addition, we provide snacks each day!

Our Keeginaw Kids Afterschool Program runs from September to June (In accordance with the School District Calendar). Monday through Friday. 3:00pm-5:30pm. Our Afterschool Program is able to pick up children from school and bring them to our center, in this way we are able to limit barriers for working parents / guardians.

A $25.00 non-refundable registration fee is required to secure your child’s spot in the program.

Keeginaw Kids Summer Program

Our Keeginaw Kids Summer Program is for children ages 6-12, and runs July & August from 9:00am to 3:00 pm. We organize a fun program that includes lunch and snack every day along with a range of community outings, activities and events.

Spring Break Program

We offer an exciting spring break program for children ages 6-12. Join us for a week full of crafts, co-operative games, sports and outdoor play. In this program we also offer mini-trips to local parks, and recreational facilities. Child and Youth Outreach Consultants in School District #60

Our Child and Youth Outreach Consultants work with students in the schools in Fort St. John, providing positive behavioral support, emotional supports, life skills and empowerment practices. Our Outreach Program runs September to June, Monday through Friday.

Miyo*Sin Program

Our Miyo*Sin program is free and runs from September to June (in accordance with the school district calendar). This program is for youth 13-18 and runs every Wednesday night from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

This group is led by youth; which means the youth along with the support of the co-facilitators design and create their own programming, events and community outings. This group is a place youth can come to enjoy a hot meal, all events, activities and food are free to the youth.
